Whats on Your Mind, Messerschmidt

Whats on Your Mind Messerschmidt is an exploration of the material vices that drive our decisions. It seeks to resolve the banality and simultaneous complexity of our thoughts. As humans we often obsess about simplistic material things. These obsessions twist and turn in our heads, taking complex logical forms as we rationalize our material needs […]

Fluids
Fluids

Having done quite a bit with evolving surfaces, it seems natural to add dynamics to the mix. This is a full vortex sheet simulation utilizing the vortex in cell technique developed by Mark Stock, however I’m opting for an n-body boundary element integration rather than using the eulerian grid. The n-body interactions are computed using […]

ZRAY
ZRAY

Abstract ZRAY is a naive GPU renderer that utilizes a 3D volume spatial hashing data structure based on a z-order curve. My intentions for developing a ray tracing engine on the GPU is to learn the fundamentals of parallel programming for the GPU. Because raytracing is an embarrassingly parallel algorithm, it offers a good platform […]

libGaudi

Antoni Gaudi was a Spanish Architect know for his eccentrically beautiful fluid forms. libGaudi is a fledgeling subdivision of surface modeling library based on the Doubly Linked Face List data structure. Not wanting to copy whats out there, I plan on exploring and synthesizing some interesting programs, and add a few things of my […]

RockNome
RockNome

The Rocknome is inspired by the Monome project. My goal was to create a digital input system that was an elegant combination of digital, analogue, and absurd. The result is the Rocknome. Its a 4×16 soft button grid embedded in a 2-degree of freedom gimbal with analogue potentiometers at its axis.
