w01 - Intro / Image Correction Techniques
Please post an image listing all the correction steps you have taken to adjust it using full image tools.
You should have explored the following:
- levels/curves for contrast adjust
- transformation for correcting parallax
- color balance for color adjustment
- image adjustment for saturation and brightness
- image size for reducing image to a manageable size and appropriate resolution for print or screen
- proper compression
There may be more functions - dont do any work on image details that require

Re: w01 - Intro / Image Correction Techniques
BEFORE
-Adjusted the contrast and brightness using levels
-Balanced the color (it was slightly green)
-Sharpened the image by increasing the radius
-Changed the resolution from print (300 dpi) to screen (72 dpi) to make the file size smaller
AFTER
-Straightened out the buildings using the transform tool-Adjusted the contrast and brightness using levels
-Balanced the color (it was slightly green)
-Sharpened the image by increasing the radius
-Changed the resolution from print (300 dpi) to screen (72 dpi) to make the file size smaller
Re: w01 - Intro / Image Correction Techniques
Before and After images posted below:
-Transformed and skewed the image for proper parallax.
-Adjusted color balance, curve, and desaturated the image some to add a more suitably oppressive atmosphere for the image (photo was from Pripyat, a town that had been abandoned for 30 years after the Chernobyl incident).
-Reduced the size of the image from 4097x2726 to 1024x681 pixels.
