Video Processing App
The main idea of this application is to separate the video into different frames and process the images. Then add the frames back together to create a processed video.
I started with creating the desaturate function, which can turn a full color video into gray. This function helps to make edge detection and motion detection. The most important part of edge detection are the kernels. Different kernels can make different edge detection functions like horizontal, vertical and sobel.
The motion detection function will first desaturate the video, then compare the absolute difference of two consecutive frames. At the end, it will show the compared video. The Sepia and Cyanotype functions will change the video into different color tones. PDF
