First Canstruction is a study in overdubbing and the use of the musical iced tea can. I have been playing these cans since I discovered their wonderful sounds in 1996. Now I am doing research that will simulate the cans using a computer.
These cans were recorded using two Sony condenser caplet microphones and a pre-amp
created from a stereo op-amp and a few resistors.

Praise for the cans
"I never knew cans could be so musical!"
Max Mathews, father of computer music
"Bob looks like a homeless man on the floor surrounded by his cans."
Julius O. Smith, III, physical modeling expert
"You compose me a piece for cans and I will play it!"
Juanjo Guillermo, noted percussionist professional de Espana
