Ivana Andjelkovic comes from Belgrade, Serbia and currently lives in Santa Barbara, CA where she is working towards PhD degree in Media Arts and Technology.

She is interested in acoustics, electronic instruments, perception and neuronal responses to sound, vibration and music. Primarily engineer and scientist, with great passion for music because of its power to communicate and improve physiological and psychological states, she strives to understand the underlying mechanisms of such phenomena. Her goal is to use the scientific knowledge of neuronal responses to sound in harmonizing acoustic environment.

She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia and Master's degree from George Washington University, both in Computer Science.
