Pixels As a Building Block

Pixels as independent objects can be characterized by its color and position,  arrays of pixels can be used to build complex scenes.



Different Shapes

Beside the squares there are different shapes that tessellate the plane.

Tessellations in art

Different artists have explored the aesthetics of the filling of the plane without gaps.

Shape Selected

The Escher Hexagonal based lizard are selected as tessellation basic shape, beside its properties of color and position the lizards also can have 3 different orientations.
