The Cube is a transparent box that encases the web structure. Its purpose, to shield the web structure, to provide mountable surfaces for the speakers, and to serve as a means of communication between the environment and the web structure.

There will be a total of eight speakers mounted on the ceiling of the Cube. The ceiling speakers will be paired off according to the four walls of the Cube; as a result there will be four stereo images of sound for optimum spatialisation. In addition to the speakers, four sub woofers will be embedded near the floor of the Cube, at the center of each side.

As previously mentioned, luminescent tube lights may be embedded into the the floor of the Cube, adding more light sources to vary the effect of the decorative layer of the Web structure.

There will be several kinds of weather measuring devices mounted on the roof of the Cube. Such devices include a light sensor, something to measure the direction and velocity of wind, temperature, and something to measure the amount of rain on a wet day. The wall of the tube would contain tunnels for the wires that serve as a means of transportation for the weather data.
